Together we can do more.ResponsibilitiesTo provide high quality comprehensive audiology assessment and intervention to the patients, clients and carers of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD), in order to promote optimal health outcomes. The unit head is responsible for efficient and effective delivery of audiology services across the district, ensuring the unit''s performance is of the highest professional and clinical standard. The unit head works with the allied health team leader, speech pathology Head of Discipline, general managers and clinical stream directors to facilitate discipline-specific business activities, fulfil reporting requirements, undertake performance management, and enhance staff and service development. The unit head is the leadership position within the audiology department, and will work to develop and maintain a high functioning team that delivers excellent clinical and operational outcomes.
