Light Vehicle Mechanic / 3rd or 4th year apprentice Bridgestone Select, located in Cairns, is presently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced addition to our team. This position is full time. Required Qualifications and Experience To be successful for this position, it is essential that you have/are: A professional and reliable attitude. Great sense of humour. Knowledge and experience with a variety of makes and models of vehicles. Effective timemanagement skills and able to prioritise multiple responsibilities. Able to work independently as well as a part of the overall team. The ability to comply with OH&S policies and procedures. Well presented, punctual and responsible. A keen eye for detail, pride in your individual work and a possession knowledge of our business values. Good communication skills and a friendly disposition. Hold a Cert III (Motor Mechanic) Trade Qualification. A current Australian Drivers Licence. Currently residing in Queensland. Responsibilities Some of your daily duties within this role will include: General mechanical repairs. Diagnosis of engine management. Brakes and suspension on Passenger, Light Commercial and 4WD vehicles. Wheel aligning. Benefits Excellent working conditions amongst a friendly team environment.
