NT Health is seeking dedicated and motivated Hospital Pharmacists to join our teams across Australia. As part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, youll deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients, provide expert clinical advice, and contribute to medication safety and quality improvement initiatives across the region. About the role Youll be responsible for: Providing clinical pharmacy services to designated wards and patients in line with national standards. Dispensing and counselling for inpatients and outpatients. Supervising technical staff and supporting a safe, compliant pharmacy service. Delivering drug information and education to patients and staff. Contributing to medication safety programs, audits and guideline development. Participating in rotations across NT hospitals and occasional outreach to remote communities. About you Youll bring: A recognised degree in Pharmacy and registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Sound clinical pharmacy knowledge and current practice skills. Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork abilities. Commitment to ongoing learning and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). The ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultures and to travel within the NT as required. Pharmacy Technician Role Bring your pharmacy skills to the heart of the Territory. NT Health is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pharmacy Technicians to support the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services. Working under the supervision of a pharmacist, youll play an essential role in the safe supply, distribution, and management of medicines for inpatients and outpatients. This handson role offers variety, professional development and the opportunity to make a real difference in the community. About the role Youll be responsible for: Assisting with dispensing, manufacturing, and prepacking of medicines. Supporting pharmacists in the coordination of prescriptions, medication lists, and stock across hospital and community settings. Managing purchasing, inventory, and supplier liaison to ensure efficient stock control. Helping to manage PBS, HSD, EFC and SAS medicines in line with program requirements. Contributing to quality improvement activities, performance monitoring and safety standards. Participating in rostered weekend and public holiday work as part of a supportive team. About you Youll bring: Certificate III in Health Systems Assistance Hospital Pharmacy (or willingness to complete within 18 months). Knowledge of NT Medicines, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods legislation. Experience with hospital pharmacy systems, stock control, and PBS/HSD processes. Strong attention to detail, problemsolving and time management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. The ability to perform manual handling tasks (up to 12 kg) safely and effectively. A commitment to cultural awareness and working respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds. About the role (Generic) Youll be responsible for: Assisting with labelling, dispensing, and prepacking medicines under pharmacist supervision. Managing bulk distribution and accurate recording of pharmaceutical stock. Receiving and checking deliveries, entering data, and resolving supplier discrepancies. Maintaining stock rotation, monitoring expiry dates, and ensuring accurate inventory control. Responding to nonclinical enquiries about medicine supply, storage, and availability. Supporting a safe, compliant workplace by following all quality and WHS standards. About you (Generic) Youll bring: Strong arithmetic and computer skills, with attention to accuracy and detail. Experience in stock control or inventory management. Effective communication and teamwork skills. The ability to perform manual handling duties safely. A respectful approach when working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of medicine names (generic and trade). Previous experience in a pharmacy environment or with computerised dispensing. Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Hospital Pharmacy) or equivalent qualification. Experience in an Australian hospital pharmacy setting.
