Truck Driver (MR Gang) Tamworth Transport for NSW Job reference: 102483 Permanent Fulltime Salary: $1446.9 $1446.9 Location: South Tamworth, NSW, 2340 (must live within 100 km of the South Tamworth depot) Join the Construction team operating Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (GVM >4.5t) as an MR Truck Driver. Responsibilities Operate MR trucks and tow trailers that the vehicle is rated to tow. Carry out general roadworker labouring duties (Road Worker Grade3). Maintain plant and equipment; use hand tools when not operating the truck. Operate water tankers and Flocon asphalt transport trucks as required. Collaborate with Team Leaders & Works Supervisors to manage daytoday operations and resolve issues. Camp away and travel across the region during weekdays. Keep WHS legislation and safety procedures uptodate. Work a 9day fortnight. Essential Licences & Certifications White Card MR Driver Licence Traffic control certifications (or willing to obtain) Experience & Skills Experience as a truck driver in highspeed, hightraffic environments. Construction or civil labouring experience and knowledge of local road networks. Preferred: plant operation (excavator, bobcat, loader, backhoe).
