Assistant in Nursing Sterile Stock Room Join the UnitingCare Queensland team as an Assistant in Nursing in the Sterile Stock Room at Buderim Private Hospital. This role supports daily theatre case preparation, including consumables and instrument trays from CSSD, and ensures efficient stock management. Employment Details Employment Term: Casual, opportunities available Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast Remuneration: $33.31 $36.81 per hour, plus casual loading, superannuation, and NFP salary packaging (save tax and increase takehome pay) Key Responsibilities Set up consumables and instruments for daily theatre cases. Put away instrument trays processed in CSSD and sent up to the sterile stock room. Maintain accurate inventory and ensure compliance with related health and safety standards. Support the team in a flexible rotating roster environment. Qualifications & Experience Certificate III in Health Services Assistant or equivalent. Minimum 12 months experience in an acute/hospital setting. Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices. Willingness to obtain required vaccinations and undergo the national criminal history check and functional assessment. Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.
