Boilermakers - Weipa (Permanent Relocation) We encourage qualified Boilermakers to apply for a permanent relocation to Weipa, a coastal town in Far North Queensland. At work, you will be part of our skilled mechanical and fabrication team, completing structural and heavy plate fabrication, repairs, and maintenance across a variety of projects in Weipa. This role offers variety, stability, and the chance to grow your trade in an incredible coastal location. Key Responsibilities Fabrication, assembly, and repair of steel structures and equipment Reading and interpreting technical drawings Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Collaborating with supervisors and other trades Ideal Candidate Several years of experience in similar environments Trade qualified with valid qualifications and trade certificates recognised in Australia Ready to pack up and relocate to a new adventure Additional skills and certifications (advantage): HR Licence, Construction Card, Rio Tinto Aluminium Inductions, QLD Coal Board or Respiratory Health Surveillance (MMQ), willingness to undergo preemployment checks and medicals, willingness to undertake relevant site access required training.
