School Crossing Supervisor Canterbury/Bankstown Local Government Area Transport for NSW is looking for a casual School Crossing Supervisor to support safety at school crossings in the Canterbury/Bankstown Local Government Area. The role involves supervising traffic at school crossings, ensuring safe pedestrian access, and maintaining visibility of crossings during school hours. Key Responsibilities Supervise crossing activities for school zones during shift hours (8:009:30AM and 2:304:00PM). Maintain safety standards and visibility of crossings for students, parents, teachers, and motorists. Remain present and vigilant in all weather conditions, communicating effectively with local communities. Record incidents or potential hazards and report them promptly. About You Community minded, reliable, and willing to work in varying weather. Good communication skills and alert to potential dangers. Able to work 1hour or longer shifts on a flexible schedule as required through school terms. Must be aged 18 or over at the time of appointment. Requirements Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and Health Assessment. All training, uniforms, and equipment will be provided. Superannuation and hourly rate provided.
