Research Assistant Children''s Immunotherapy Research Join the Ian Frazer Centre for Childrens Immunotherapy Research (IFCCIR) at UQ as a Research Assistant and play a vital role in the Paediatric Immune Cell Atlas research program. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in childrens immunotherapy by supporting the processing and management of clinical samples and data. Working within a collaborative team, youll ensure accurate laboratory practices that directly support research into innovative treatments for cancer, autoimmune and infectious diseases in children. Parttime (50%) with potential to increase to 80% for the right candidate; fixedterm position for up to 12months Base salary range $76,025$80,606 + 17% superannuation (HEW Level4) Research at the Centre for Childrens Research, adjacent to QLD Childrens Hospital, South Brisbane Key Responsibilities Collect, process and store patient specimens in accordance with established protocols and quality standards. Maintain accurate records of all clinical samples and support data management via electronic laboratory notebooks and databases. Assist senior researchers with laboratory experiments, SOPs and risk assessments. Provide administrative support, including ordering supplies, preparing reports and coordinating meetings to ensure smooth Centre operations.
