The opportunity Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Cage Cashier Shift Manager to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As the dedicated shift manager, you will oversee daily operations within our casinos cage department. In this pivotal role, youll lead a team of cashiers, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and maintain the highest levels of accuracy and integrity in cash-handling procedures. Oversee cage operations whilst on shift, including cash handling, chip transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements Supervise cage staff, ensuring proper training, performance management, and scheduling to maintain efficient operations and high service standards Review and balance daily cash and chip transactions, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation is executed Ensure excellent customer service for both internal and external stakeholders, resolving disputes or issues promptly and professionally, and reporting any unresolved issues directly to the Cage Manager Investigate variances (positive and negative) More about you Demonstrated experience in a related supervisory or managerial role Experience in a casino cage or bank, in a cash-handling capacity Degree qualified in accounting or a similar discipline is highly desirable, with a strong mathematical ability Demonstrated knowledge of gaming systems and the ability to understand and interpret gaming rules and regulations Ability to obtain and maintain a NT Casino Operative License Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gaming certification The application period will close on 28/11/2025, unless a suitably qualified candidate is identified sooner.
