About the role: Being an integral part of the West Kalgoorlie Leadership Team and overseeing daily movements of the rolling stock and timely scheduled yard operations, you will be required to: Direct and manage the allocation, utilisation, and deployment of production resources to ensure the disciplined execution of the yard plan. Develop, implement, and manage process, systems and procedures that will eliminate above rail factors within the cycle which impact on supply chain performance and the attainment of the daily schedule. Develop and maintain the knowledge, skills and attributes of self and the team and ensure the team has clear, current, and measurable goals and objectives aligned to the plan and business targets. Provide advice, coaching and support to direct operational employees that assists in achieving performance objectives, promote high performance teams and support continuous improvement activities. Ensure that all business activities and employees within the positions area of control comply with all relevant legislative/statutory obligations and company policies, standards, and procedures. Responsibilities of this role may vary over time. About you: Ideally, youll bring: A genuine interest in leading, coaching, and motivating teams. A proactive approach to problemsolving and confident decisionmaking. Competence with digital tools and the Microsoft Office suite. A Certificate IV/Diploma in Frontline Management or equivalent (preferred but not essential). Experience in logistics, heavy industry, or yard operations will be highly regarded, but its your leadership potential, willingness to learn, and drive to succeed that matter most.
