Job Description

The Digital Services and Programs (DSP) are responsible for delivering a program of ICT projects in line with the DJAG ICT Strategy 2021-2026. Queensland Courts and Tribunals rely heavily upon technology to deliver existing services and plan to use technology to further drive strategic change in the way that services are delivered to the community. The outcome of these projects will streamline workflows, make better use of limited human resources, improve client experience, and enable the future move to a digitised and paper lite court and tribunal system. Your key responsibilities Provide technical expertise to support, maintain, and enhance critical business applications. Develop, undertake and continuously refine routine, proactive system checks and maintenance activities on businesscritical systems. Provide specialist technical knowledge and skills in the fulfilment of requests from either clients, other IT teams, or external service providers. Provide responsive escalated technical support in the investigation and resolution of complex incidents and problems. Assist in the delivery of discrete operational project work packages or managed activities as directed by your team leader or the management team. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including clients, colleagues, other business units, and external providers. Provide technical leadership to junior members of the team as required. Maintain an awareness of current and emerging whole of Government ICT through researching of strategies, policies, standards, and of relevant technologies and industry best practice. Use your initiative and proactive approach to identify opportunities and initiatives that will enhance ICT delivered services. Technical Skills, Abilities And Cultural Capability Highly developed application administration and support practices for applications that use Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Power Platform Knowledge and/or experience with technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Solaris and Unix Servers. Extensive knowledge and experience working in an IT application support environment that supports and maintains critical services with demanding service level targets. Sound understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and request management along with continuous improvement principles. Knowledge of Court and registry procedures including the use of required technology in Queensland Courts, or a willingness to gain knowledge quickly. Knowledge of Courts applications and their operation in courts and the ability to analyse and recommend solutions to non-technical issues arising from the operation of the applications, would be desirable. Qualifications And Conditions There are no mandatory qualifications. However, qualifications and/or experience in the following technologies/frameworks will be of benefit and highly regarded: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Microsoft Power Platform Microsoft Active Directory WalkMe ServiceNow Microsoft Azure Microsoft SQL Server ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation in IT Service Management certification Web based applications utilising Microsoft .NET technologies Microsoft SharePoint Services Microsoft SQL server 2005/2008 Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft PowerShell v3.0+ for systems administration Oracle databases and Oracle fusion middleware Oracle Solaris, Unix servers Cron jobs and shell scripts Criminal and/or Civil Case Management Systems Applications to remain current for 12 months.
