Non-Executive Director - Established For Purpose Organisation Workways Australia Ltd is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that has presence across the eastern seaboard of Australia, providing environmental and employment services. Along with delivering on government funded contracts, such as Workforce Australia and Transition to Work, Workways creates environmental impacts via bush regeneration and habitat restoration services under the brand Envite. Work options: Work From Anywhere In preparation for annual director movements, Workways is currently seeking applications for the NonExecutive Director position from persons with expertise and connections within the environmental services industry. It is expected that the NonExecutive Director will possess skills that enable effective contribution to the duties and obligations of the Board. A strong understanding of corporate governanceincluding legal, ethical, fiduciary and financial responsibilitiesis essential. Workways NonExecutive Directors are expected to demonstrate a passion for making a difference in the communities we serve. The Board operates predominately in an online environment, with expected facetoface meetings in Queensland or Victoria at least two times per year. There are six board meetings annually and the successful Director may be required to sit on a subcommittee which meets online four times per year. There may be additional meetings scheduled based on organisational priorities. The commitment on average is 10 hours per month. The NonExecutive Director position is remunerated. NonExecutive Directors are required to complete a National Police History Check, Financial Check, and Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check.
