You will play a key role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the production of high-quality poultry products.Immediate startOnsite ParkingGreat employee benefits including product discounts, travel discounts + more!Opportunity for future permanent employmentGreat job security with an ASX-listed and stable companyThe health, safety and wellbeing of our people is our highest priorityFast-paced and team-focused environmentConsistent hours provided weeklyHours of Work:This is a full-time role that will operate Monday Friday , rotating shifts4:00am-12:30pm6:00am-2:30pm8:30am-5:00pmDaily Tasks:Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely mannerReduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtimeAssisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholdersEnsure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activitiesIdentifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risksTake personal responsibility to ensure livestock is treated humanely by self and othersYou will bring to this role:Experience in servicing, repair, and maintaining various equipment, including but not limited to automated packing machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, and more, in an industrial manufacturing environment.Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practicesExperience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systemsExperience in breakdown as well and preventive maintenanceSound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholdersProven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem solving with the ability to multitaskExperience with Maximo as a CMMS would be an advantageAbility to work unsupervised and as part of a teamWere looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous, and committed to join us.
