As Coordinator Growth Area and Subdivision, youll be at the forefront of delivering connected, sustainable development across Baw Baws booming growth areas, including Warragul, Drouin, and beyond. This is your opportunity to shape how entire communities are planned, delivered, and lived in. Youll lead the end-to-end assessment of complex subdivision applications from planning permit stage through to Statement of Compliance, managing a skilled team of planners, engineers, Development Contribution Officers, and Subdivision Officers. Youll also drive the coordination of infrastructure delivery in line with Precinct Structure Plans, Development Contribution Plans, and long-term strategic objectives. Your work will be central to transforming greenfield land into vibrant, future-ready neighbourhoods. Youll collaborate closely with developers, consultants, and state agencies, balancing innovation with compliance, and community outcomes with growth pressures. About the Role The Coordinator Growth Area and Subdivision leads a dedicated team responsible for managing planning permits within Precinct Structure Plans, Shire-wide certification processes, Statements of Compliance (SOC) applications, and subdivision infrastructure standards across Baw Baw Shire. This role ensures compliance with planning and subdivision legislation, drives the implementation of Precinct Structure Plans and Development Contribution Plans, and works closely with stakeholders to deliver sustainable, well-planned communities. You will provide expert advice, champion process improvements, and support the Shires strategic growth objectives. This is a unique opportunity to oversee the entire development process, from planning permit inception through to Statement of Compliance, under one coordinated leadership.
