What you need to know Temporary full time until September 2026 - 76 hours per fortnight The package: $59,838 to $71,358 plus superannuation per annum Location: Grafton, NSW Access to fitness passport 9 day fortnight About the role Council is looking for an Assistant Animal Control Officer to assist in the day-to-day operational duties at Council''s Animal Shelter and related companion animal tasks, including cleaning of kennels and cages, feeding and exercising animals, as well as administrative duties. The position will also assist in community awareness programs on matters relating to companion animal ownership and regulation. There will be potential for Higher Grade Pay opportunities as Animal Control Officer, depending on the successful applicants skills and abilities. This is a fixed-term role until September 2026.
