Senior Secondary VCE/VM Teacher Numeracy, WRS and PDS Position No.: 238009 Fulltime, ongoing Salary Range: $80,939 to $123,284 plus superannuation Location: Frankston About the Role As a VCE/VM teacher, your key responsibilities include: Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners. Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, including VCAA VCE VM curriculum and study design requirements. Enhance the student experience to improve engagement early on and assist learners to interact with their academic and social environment to prevent attrition and encourage success. Understand VCAA course requirements and develop responsive, innovative educational solutions for learners. Maintain a respectful, safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment. About You You are a highly motivated individual with welldeveloped skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools. Qualifications Required Approved tertiary qualification in Education with a major in a VCE VM related discipline or disciplines. Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Professional qualifications relevant to delivery of VCE VM core strands of study. A record of VCE VM competency, mapped to VCE VM core units engaged to deliver. A record of professional currency, demonstrating current VCE VM teaching knowledge.
