Find people you can count on, and a lifestyle you love As a Trainee Waste Collection Attendant, you will work alongside experienced staff to learn and support modern waste management practices. This handson role involves assisting with the classification, sorting, and processing of waste and recyclables, maintaining site cleanliness, and engaging with customers to ensure proper disposal procedures. The trainee will also participate in training programs and work towards completing a Certificate III in Waste Management, contributing to a safe and sustainable work environment. Youll Work With a Great Team To Assist with waste classification and segregation in line with NSW EPA guidelines. Operate machinery and equipment for processing recyclable materials. Provide customer service and guidance on waste disposal procedures. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the waste facility, including litter collection and sanitation. Participate in training and development activities, including completing a Certificate III in Waste Management. What Youll Bring To thrive in this role, you will need: Willingness to learn and commit to a structured traineeship program. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Good physical fitness. Basic computer skills. We Would Also Love You To Have P1, P2 or C Class Drivers Licence. Experience operating plant such as loader and forklift. Current First Aid Certificate. Ready for your opportunity?
