This role may include transferring patients within the hospital, linen maintenance and medical supply restocking, cooking and/or preparing light refreshments for patients, general cleaning as required including rooms and equipment, and assisting generally as directed by nursing staff. You will need to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude, and use your good communication skills to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Remaining calm in emergencies and the capability to handle equipment such as wheelchairs, beds and other medical equipment is also valued.
