How You Will Make Contributions That Matter We have an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to start their career as a Fitting & Turning / Maintenance tradesperson at our Specialty Cheese facility in Burnie, Tasmania. We are seeking a motivated, committed, and reliable person who wants to gain practical onthejob experience, whilst receiving extensive training and a Certificate III EngineeringMechanical Trade. Responsibilities Proactive, preventative, and reactive maintenance to achieve optimal operational requirements whilst maintaining safe work practices. Small plant and machine upgrades. Mechanical machining & fitting. Welding including TIG for stainless steel. Maintain a clean workplace. Working through mandatory and elective units to achieve Certificate III EngineeringMechanical Trade. About You Higher School Certificate (minimum) or other relevant qualification, with an aptitude for technical/mechanical work. Practical trade skills and/or relevant preapprenticeship. Someone who is a team player, trustworthy and has a good work ethic. A quick learner with good computer skills. Strong ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety.
