The Role As a valued member of our Urban Maintenance team, you will assist across any areas of the municipality with maintenance operations when and where work priorities demand, helping to achieve the overall maintenance objectives of the operations teams. This will include open space maintenance through tasks such as operating ride on mowers, tractors and small plant and equipment. Enjoy the outdoors, working a 9day fortnight from 7:00am 4:00pm! Workdays will be starting and concluding at Latrobe City Councils depot in Moe. About You We are seeking a dedicated allrounder who is passionate about delivering highquality work. You will be friendly, approachable, and professional to be able to communicate with the public, clients, and other employees. Current Medium Rigid Vehicle licence as a minimum Current Traffic Control and Worksite Management Certificate Construction Induction (White Card) Practical experience performing turf and grass maintenance for Municipal Council or similar size operation. Proven experience in the safe and competent operation of the types of plant and equipment used in turf and grass maintenance. Possession of a current Farm Chemical User/Herbicide Application Certificate Practical experience in one or more of the following: General horticultural maintenance Routine turf and grass mowing. Desirable Current First Aid Experience working with a Municipal Council or similar authority.
