Whats on offer Taxsaving salary packaging option Meaningful work that supports the community Friendly, supportive team working in a positive workplace culture Position details Fulltime Office hours (7:30am 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm) Hourly base rate: $35.76 Service Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Assistant to play a vital role in helping our clients stay connected and engaged in their communities. In this rewarding position, youll support the coordination of services that make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve. In this role you will Assist the Coordinator in the planning, scheduling and delivery of Transport and Social Support Individual services for clients to access the community. Assist the Coordinator to roster staff efficiently and effectively. Assist the Coordinator to ensure that client information is maintained with regular evaluation of client needs and changes. Uphold wellness and clientfocused service delivery principles in all activities/tasks. On occasions you may be required to drive People Who Care vans and cars and provide social support. What you will need Demonstrated experience working with older individuals. A caring and compassionate approach to service provision. Knowledge of relevant community services. Selfmotivated with the ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work with individuals from a range of social, financial and cultural backgrounds. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills. Current national police clearance (not older than 6 months). Certificate III or IV in Health, Ageing Support, Individual Support or Community Services. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
