Based in Sale, this position will see the successful candidate working Full time, Monday to Friday for an outdoor power equipment specialist whilst completing a Certificate III in Outdoor Power Equipment Technology. In this role, you will gain handson experience while working toward a nationally recognised qualification. You will work under the guidance of qualified technicians, and you will learn how to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, generators, and other petrol and batterypowered machinery. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in mechanics and small engines, who enjoys practical work, is mechanically minded, and is eager to build a career in the outdoor power equipment industry. What you will be doing Assist in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of outdoor power equipment Learn to diagnose faults in twostroke and fourstroke engines Support with equipment inspections, part replacements, and basic troubleshooting Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the workshop Follow all workplace health and safety procedures Attend and complete all offthejob training through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Demonstrate a strong will to learn and develop new skills Other tasks as directed What we are looking for Genuine interest in small engine mechanics or outdoor power equipment Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn Ability to work well in a team and take direction Completion of Year 10 (minimum) About AGA Starting a career begins well before you get your first job it begins with training.
