This opportunity is offered for an immediate start. This is a FIFO position offered on an 8:6 (Days with nights potentially coming soon) roster. Ex Perth or Busselton. Who are we?Chandler Macleod is a leading global provider of workforce solutions, offering recruitment, consulting, and outsourcing services to clients across various industries: #wegetpeople About the roleAs a member of the Blast Crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient blasting operations by: Operating stemming trucks, priming, and loading holes. Operating MPU units for both ANFO and pumpable products. Collaborating with drill and blast teams to ensure efficient production. Maintaining accurate records and compliance with all safety protocols. Ensuring housekeeping of magazines, magazine compounds, explosive vehicles and work areas are kept to high levels. About You Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) Valid Manual Drivers Licence HR class Experience with operating stem trucks Previous experience in open-cut mining operations Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening Ability to complete a National Police Check Strong communication skills and ability to work safely, collaboratively, and independently Full Australian working rights required At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
