As a Child Care Assistant within Councils Year-Round Care Service, youll play a key role in providing high-quality care and engaging experiences for children aged 512 years, in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation. We offer flexible shifts during both school terms and holidays, with availability required during the following hours: NSW School Terms: 6:30am9:00am & 3:00pm7:00pm NSW School Holidays: Between 7:00am7:00pm (with the opportunity to work up to 38 hours per week during school holidays) The successful applicant will demonstrate their competency for the position, meeting the following essential criteria: Minimum Certificate III in Childrens Service Over 18 years of age with a minimum of 1-year experience working with children aged 5-12 years Current First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate, Working with Children Check and Police Check Available for shifts between 6.30am 9.00am and 3.00pm 7.00pm during NSW Public School Terms; and shift between 7.00am 7.00pm during NSW School Holidays.
