About The Role We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant in Nursing with experience in PACU / Recovery to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 24 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster. Duties And Responsibilities This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care Assist with admissions and prep patients for surgery Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus Assist patients with general requests and mobility Participate in quality improvement activities to lift the efficiency of the hospital About You Solid experience in a comparable role (theatre / perioperative setting preferred) Qualifications in Nursing or similar Experience in Recovery would be advantageous A background in private day hospitals preferred A passion for nursing and ensuring a seamless patient experience Culture And Benefits Monday to Friday roster, no on call shifts 12 weeks paid parental leave for eligible employees Up to $2000 employee referral bonus Great discounts at a large variety of retailers including Coles & Woolworths Focus on health and wellbeing (inc.
