We work hard but have fun while were doing it.Job DescriptionThe Greyhounds as Pets Team Coordinator supports the delivery and implementation of RWWAs GAP Program, acting as team 2IC to ensure smooth daily operations. This role oversees the kennel facility, foster care, volunteer, and adoption programs, while assisting with the management of staff, contractors, and key stakeholder relationships.The position also assists with the progression of greyhounds through injury recovery and rehoming schemes, coordinating their care from entry to adoption. In the managers absence, the coordinator represents and leads the team, ensuring program continuity and high standards of animal welfare.About the roleAssist with the delivery and implementation of RWWAs Greyhounds As Pets (GAP) Program.Assist with the Greyhounds as Pets kennel facility at all sites, oversee the foster care, volunteer and adoptions programs, including associated staff and relationships with contractors.Assist with the day-to-day requirements of the GAP program from entry of greyhounds into the program, through to adoption.Assist with the Greyhound Injury Full Recovery Scheme and GRI scheme including progress of greyhounds located at veterinary and rehabilitation service providers and entry into main GAP system.Assist with Team leadership across the program for permanent and casual staffAct as the managers representative in all of the above in the managers absenceQualificationsAbout YouVeterinary Nursing Qualification or equivalent (strongly desired)Intermediate MS Office and SharePoint skillsStrong problem solving and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills verbal and writtenDemonstrated experience of managing or working as part of a team within RWWA or externallyAbility to deliver high levels of customer service at all times including when under pressureAble to priorities workload to meet deadlines while working to competing prioritiesKnowledge and experience of high standards of animal welfareKnowledge of WA greyhound industry desirableExperience in a rehoming environment desirableGood skills with MS Office suite and SharePointAdditional InformationAs part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete Pre-Employment screening, which will include two reference checks, police clearance and Australian Working Rights check.Please note this role is only open to applicants that hold Australian Working Rights and we do not offer Work Sponsorship Visa''s.We offer:Flexibility that works for you hybrid work options, flexible hours, and the tools to work effectively anywhere.Investment in your growth a personal learning and development time allowance, and opportunities to deepen your expertise.A workplace built for people brand-new offices with wellness spaces, end-of-trip facilities, and modern collaborative zones.Recognition that matters competitive remuneration, employee discounts, and reward programs that celebrate your achievements.Ready to Apply?Click Apply Now and submit your CV along with a brief cover letter outlining why youre the right fit for this role.
