Salary Level 6, $120,457 - $132,753 per annum (prorata) (PSCA 2024) Position Program Coordinator Fixedterm, fulltime commencing December 2025 to December 2027. Location Karratha, Pilbara Education Region Overview The Pilbara Education Region comprises 29 public schools servicing students in the northwest of Western Australia. Since 2007 Woodside and the Department of Education have worked in partnership to improve education outcomes and provide pathways to employment. In 2023 a further fiveyear partnership, the Karratha and Roebourne Education Initiative (KREI), was agreed to achieve the following objectives: increase educational attainment and achievement improve educational opportunities and pathways support for students support pathways to employment assist the attraction and retention of quality teachers through the delivery of professional learning and development Responsibilities As Program Coordinator you will: develop, coordinate and implement KREI projects and programs and monitor, evaluate and report on their effectiveness; conduct research and analysis of data and information to identify project effectiveness, issues and opportunities for continuous improvement; prepare briefings and discussion papers for presentation to department senior executives; facilitate effective communication between schools, regional and central office and external stakeholders.; work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure appropriate advice, information and support is provided to the Director of Education and other senior management staff. Selection Criteria Demonstrated highly developed oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to undertake highlevel consultations, collaborations and negotiations. Demonstrated highly developed project management skills, including project planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation. Demonstrated highly developed research, conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with a proven ability to provide innovative solutions to achieve outcomes and ensure risk management strategies.
