Providing specialist sexual assault and family violence programs and services, including 24 hour crisis care support, case management, therapeutic counselling, early intervention and professional education and training, we continue to grow and develop our offerings.Job DescriptionAbout the Sexual Assault & Family Violence CentreWe are a client-centred organisation, supporting the community throughout Barwon, Wimmera, and the South West regions, offering a range of specialist support services to people impacted by sexual and family violence, encompassing 24 hour crisis care, specialist response services, early intervention programs, Victims Assistance Program, Community Legal Services, trauma recovery programs, professional training and primary prevention initiatives.About The RoleThe RAMP Coordinator is responsible for the provision of high quality, service delivery to clients who are at imminent risk. The position will take a leadership role in the support of team members as well as organisational practice in and around family violence risk, coordinate and manage referrals to the program in addition to negotiating, developing and maintain all aspects of the panel and reviewing its outcomes. The role will be required to represent the organisation in its relationships with other stakeholders as required.Multi-agency Risk Assessment and Management Panels (RAMPS) are a key component of the Victorian Strengthening Risk Management (SRM) Program. We offer a variety of career pathway options, leading salary packaging benefits and flexible working arrangements that help you manage your work and your life.The successful candidate will be required to maintain a current Working with Children''s Check and National Police Check at their own expense.Key Selection CriteriaEssential Qualifications and ExperienceYour application must address the following:A comprehensive understanding of family violence including a theoretical framework that includes intersectional feminist and structural theory and locates individuals within their social and familial context.High level ability to provide advice and direction for complex matters including comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, clinical risk decision making, family violence risk assessment, safety planning to respond to client''s needs in a trauma informed manner.Managing stakeholders through effective negotiation and influence and harnessing this network to support clients and ensure effective operations of RAMP.Ability to undertake considered and comprehensive client safety assessments using the MARAM framework and the information sharing schemes.Contribute to the effective management and delivery of the RAMP program including planning, implementation, monitoring and review of activities in relation to family violence risk.Provide support and secondary consultation to staff and external service providers to ensure maximum collaboration and enhanced referral pathways.Possession of a client focused approach that facilitates empowerment and independence for women, and safety and security for service users and their children.Understanding of, and a commitment to advocating against structural inequality as it relates to women and their children.Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with service users, colleagues, and other service providers.Capacity to professionally represent the program in a range of settings including public awareness and community education and training.Understanding of, and a commitment to maintaining professional practice and boundaries.OtherCommitment to the vision, values and purposes of The SAFV Centre.Commitment to continuous quality improvement and cultural equity in service delivery.Current Victorian Drivers Licence.RefereesApplicants must provide the name and current contact details of 2-3 professional referees including the most recent or current supervisor.Period of Appointment12-month contract-parental leave coverage.Hours of workThe position is part time .8Salary and ConditionsAnnual salary range is $110,912.88 - $115,556.48 plus superannuation (pro rata for part time). Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.Industrial Instrument: The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre Enterprise Agreement 2023.Salary Packaging: Provided via Maxxia. PBI status with other expenses available to package above this cap.
