The opportunity Thrive Kids Grahamstown & Tomaree are seeking experienced OOSH Coordinators to join them in supporting the parents (our big humans) and our local little humans across the community in their Outside of School Hours education. As OOSH Coordinator, youll be providing support to our OOSH Educators, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained. Youll lead the development and implementation of educational programs and guide other educators in their planning and reflection. Your core days/hours are as follow Grahamstown 34.5 hours per week: working 6:30am to 9am and 2:30pm 6:00pm each day as well as access to office hours. This is broken up as 30 hours per week operational, and 4.5 hours per week of administrative duties. Tomaree 33.5 hours per week: working 6:30am to 9:15am and 3:00pm 6:00pm each day as well as access to office hours. This is broken up as 28.75 hours per week operational, and 4.75 hours per week of administrative duties. Please note: Tomaree position will not commence until January 2026 You will be required to work split shifts during school terms and consolidated shifts during vacation care and pupil free days. For the purposes of advertising, the position title of Out of School Hours Coordinator has been used. This position is internally known as Out of School Hours Supervisor. This is a permanent opportunity: working part-time hours minimum of 33.5 up to 38 hours per week Base Salary Range: $66,490 - $78,156 pa based on 34.5 hours + 12% superannuation + Broken Shift Allowance + $2,237 retention allowance Base Salary Range: $64,563 to $75,891 pa based on 33.5 hours + 12% superannuation + Broken Shift Allowance + $2,464 retnetion allowance You will be working from: Thrive Kids Grahamstown Service or Thrive Kids Tomaree Service Ensure all Before and After School Care services meet legislative, regulatory, and service agreement requirements. Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality educational programs, supporting and guiding other educators. Oversee staff supervision, development, and operational policies in collaboration with the Outside School Hours Coordinator. Manage daily program operations, including administration, venue and equipment maintenance, and promoting the service locally. Were all about putting the right people, in the right role! Heres what were looking for: Diploma in Childcare Studies (or equivalent) with approved First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection certifications. Proven experience working in an Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) service. Strong understanding of relevant Acts, Regulations, and compliance requirements. Consent to act as Nominated Supervisor and proficiency in computer systems. This is life at PSC!
