The Opportunity Our Lysaght business is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Emu Plains team. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects. Youll manage projects across other branches within the region, complete scheduled maintenance and be required for callouts, afterhours/weekend and shutdown hours. Shift is day (6:00am 2:30pm). Overtime is available and this position will be eligible for our bonus scheme and 14% Super. What Will You Do? Act as the first and main point of contact for equipment and maintenance, ensuring safety and reliability. Ensure stoppages, performance issues or breakdowns are rectified in a safe and timely manner. Assemble, install, test, commission and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances and machinery using hand and power tools. Diagnose faulty systems and components using test equipment to identify the cause of issues and implement repairs. Inspect electrical systems and components to detect hazards, defects and necessary adjustments, ensuring adherence to safety codes. More About You Experience with PLCs, VSDs and awareness of interacting with robotics. Background in the electricians trade and relevant qualifications. A positive attitude and keen eye for detail.
