This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creating order, building systems, and setting new standards of efficiency. You will be at the centre of transforming our stores and warehousing operations - from implementing a new Warehouse Management System (WMS), to developing clear policies and procedures and strict controls across every stage of the process. You will work closely with senior management to modernise how our stores operate, embedding structure, accountability and continuous improvement into daily routines. We are looking for someone who''s ready to build something solid, lead by example, and leave their mark on a department ready for change and growth. Job Description This is a hands-on leadership position where you will oversee the entire stores cycle including Ordering and stock management Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory, incoming goods, and deliveries Oversee stock across multiple locations (warehouse, vehicles, project sites, and offsite storage) Invoicing and documentation control Dispatching and logistics Liaise with project managers and estimators for material procurement Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse, annex, and yard Coordinate the receipt of incoming goods, ensure efficient packing and delivery to project sites, and liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and local vendors Follow WHS guidelines, ensuring compliance and enforce procedures Drive efficiencies in warehouse management practices and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and best practices and drive their implementation Desired Skills and Experience What You Need: Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or equivalent industry experience Forklift licence (High Risk Work) NSW HR drivers licence (desirable) Experience using inventory management systems (i.e. SimPro) Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team Well-developed and demonstrated experience with warehouse procedures and best practices Strong communication skills and proactive approach Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and using manual handling techniques.
