Business Unit: Property, Buildings & Beach Services Title: Property Officer - Land Dealings, Permanent - Part-time Role, 21 hours per week (3 days per week) Salary Range: $92,604.95 to $107,622.32 (on a prorata basis) per annum + super (subject to skills and experience) Who we are Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 270,000. The Property Buildings & Beach Services Business Unit sits within the Transport and Assets Division, and is responsible for the overall management of all Councils commercial operations as well as buildings such as community centres, administration buildings, childcare centres and public toilets. The Property, Commercial and Tourist Asset team manage a range of properties including large tourist destinations, commercial, residential and community properties, cemeteries, outdoor dining permits and footpath trading. The team is also responsible for land acquisition and disposal / sale of land and administration of Councils statutory property responsibilities including road reserve closures / consents / leases, easements, positive covenants etc. Northern Beaches Council is committed to safeguarding children and young people. In this role youll enjoy: Professional development and training opportunities Employee wellness program and a range of lifestyle benefits Valuesbased culture and a teamsoriented working environment Our opportunity The key focus areas of this role include: Administer and document various property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences, compulsory acquisitions, road closures, easements, encroachments and contract administration, or other property transactions/functions ensuring effective management of Councils property portfolio. Participate in property related projects including public consultation, providing a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders, and report writing. Provide effective and timely responses to requests for service in relation to Councils property portfolio, in addition to other administrative and special project functions as required ensuring a high level of customer service.
