Temporary, full-time opportunity - 30 June 2027 Role based in Northern Rivers (Lismore), with flexible/hybrid working environment Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 + super About the role We''re seeking a dynamic leader to manage the delivery of the Resilient Homes Program (RHP), supporting flood resilience across the Northern Rivers and Central West. This key role oversees home buybacks, rebuilds and retrofits, combining strategic project management with customer support and stakeholder coordination. If you''re passionate about disaster recovery and leading high-performing teams to deliver impactful outcomes, apply now with the Authority! Oversee the delivery of home buybacks, raisings, rebuilds, and retrofits to improve flood resilience. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to enable a coordinated, efficient program delivery. Provide evidence-based advice and implement innovative tools, practices, and processes to support program success. Lead resolution of complex stakeholder issues and customer support activities. Ensure program compliance with Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and support audit processes. Deliver timely, accurate program-level reporting to leadership and external committees. About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience coordinating a portfolio of complex and high-profile programs, preferably in disaster recovery, housing, or government service delivery. Theyll be skilled in managing crossfunctional teams, stakeholder engagement, and customer resolution. A solid understanding of program governance, compliance frameworks like Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, and strategic reporting is key. Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as disaster management and program management. About the Agency The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premiers Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster. To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
