Position Overview Ventia is looking for an experienced Cleaner to join our specialised team servicing Defence sites. Position: Specialised Cleaner Contract: Casual Pay Rate: $35.15 per hour plus Super Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM 2:00 PM Starting Point: HMAS Stirling, Garden Island. Responsibilities Periodic Cleaning: scrub surfaces, remove stains, clean windows, perform biocleaning to meet hygiene standards. Deep Cleaning: detail tiles and bathrooms, sanitise all surfaces, address hardtoreach areas. Operate scrubbing machines, highpressure cleaners, carpet cleaners, window cleaning equipment. Travel between multiple Defence bases and barracks across the Perth metropolitan area using company vehicle. Qualifications Australian citizenship. Ability to safely perform tasks that involve lifting, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable operating heavy cleaning machinery (training provided). Willingness to complete a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol screening. Valid full drivers licence. Experience in deep and periodic cleaning. EWP ticket and workingatheight experience preferred but not essential. Security Clearance & Background Checks Must be Australian citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to the Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) level. Must provide a 20year background check for yourself and your family, including travel and criminal history. Must hold valid Australian drivers licence and undergo Australian Federal Police check.
