Job Description

The Senior Implementation Officer supports regional school improvement by coordinating and driving the implementation of key initiatives across schools. Working closely with regional leaders and central office, the role provides project, stakeholder, and coordination support to ensure effective delivery of improvement programs. This includes managing communication channels, leading discrete projects, preparing workshop materials, and supporting recruitment for school improvement teams. About the Role The purpose of the Senior Implementation Officer role is to support regional school improvement leadership teams to coordinate the implementation of school improvement initiatives within the region. As part of this role, the Senior Implementation Officer will liaise with manager within the School Performance Division as well as central office program areas to facilitate communication and responses to progress the work of school improvement initiatives. The Senior Implementation Officer will work flexibly across school improvement initiatives in the region, providing a combination of project, stakeholder and coordination support. Under the leadership of the region''s Executive Director, School Performance, the Senior Implementation Officer will also be required to lead discrete projects in the School Improvement Division. Key Responsibilities Supporting the work of the Executive Director, School Performance and regional school improvement executives with coordinating the delivery of school improvement resources into schools Supporting multi-disciplinary teams in the region with the coherent implementation and coordination of school improvement initiatives Acting as a contact point between the region and central office program areas Supporting the Executive Director, School Performance to lead project and support workshops through preparation of materials, and the coordination of area information and analysis Providing project support to recruit school improvement staff in the region Work type Fixed Term - Full Time: Up to 08/01/2027 Location Mildura, Swan Hill, Bendigo, Coburg or Greensborough. Desirable Qualifications and Experience Experience in the delivery of programs within the public service is preferred.
