About the role The Change and Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role within the Digital Transformation team, contributing to the successful delivery of the OneCouncil Project. This position is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, training programs, and change management initiatives that are peoplefocused and designed to ensure smooth transitions to new processes and systems. Working under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager, the Specialist will collaborate closely with various teams across the organisation to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and equipped to adapt to changes effectively. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess a blend of communication expertise and change management skills, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and training facilitation. Degree in Communications, Change Management, Organisational Development, or related field. Demonstrated experience in developing communication strategies for largescale projects. Proven ability to conduct readiness assessments and impact analyses. Experience in designing training programs and creating userfriendly documentation. Other important information The commencing salary for this position is up to $106k. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $123k on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation. We have a temporary fulltime role available for up to 4 years. We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role. This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.
