This is a permanent parttime position, working three days per week. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to adjust working days as needed to accommodate project and audit requirements. The business employs around 20 permanent staff and can scale to 5060 team members, including casuals, to meet project demands. The Role In this role as HSEQ Manager, you will provide handson leadership built on integrity, accountability, and collaboration. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, youll take the lead in delivering the companys HSEQ strategy, developing and implementing effective policies, systems, and procedures that align with business objectives. Youll work closely with managers and teams across all areas of the business to build engagement, strengthen safety awareness, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, environment, and quality performance. Key Focus & Objectives of your role include: Lead full compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality legislation and standards. Identify, assess, and manage risks through innovative and proactive safety initiatives. Maintain and continuously improve the companys ISOcertified Integrated Management System. Deliver HSEQ training and development to build capability and strengthen safety awareness. Investigate incidents thoroughly, driving effective corrective and preventive actions. Monitor, analyse, and report on HSEQ performance, trends, and continuous improvements. Build strong relationships with employees, clients, and regulators to uphold compliance and best practice. Promote environmental accountability and drive continuous improvement in sustainable performance. Successfully lead and complete annual ISO and IRATA audits with outstanding results. You Hold a tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety Training. Minimum of five years experience in a WHSEQ management role within industrial, mining, shutdown maintenance, or other heavy industry/highrisk environment. Experience in developing, implementing, and continuously updating policies, procedures, and manuals to align with ISO standards within an Integrated Management System. Strong attention to detail in controlling and maintaining ISOcompliant records, policies, and procedures within an Integrated Management System.
