About the Role We''re looking for a skilled and driven Service Electrician to become part of our team. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you''ll play a key role by maintaining the dependable operation of vital infrastructure. Your work will involve both routine preventative maintenance and responses to unexpected breakdowns affecting power generation and distribution, potable water assets (bore fields, ground and elevated storage, pumping stations, filtration and treatment facilities, disinfection processes) and wastewater infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on power stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and related infrastructure. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures. Identify and report necessary preventative maintenance and any noncompliance issues. Accurately complete all required electronic and paper documentation. Location This position involves a drivein/driveout roster from Broome to remote Kimberley communities. Kimberley residents are strongly encouraged to apply, as are those willing to relocate. Flyin/flyout options are available for applicants residing outside the Kimberley. The typical roster is 18 days on followed by 12 days off; flexibility with these cycles is required. What You Will Need You must demonstrate strong work ethics, integrity, safe work practices, and a positive attitude. Essential Criteria Electrical Licence. Proven experience in a field service role within one essential service area (power, water, or wastewater). Current and valid C class drivers licence with a clear driving record. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences. Willingness and ability to work in remote locations, including driving on unsealed roads. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team. Desirable Criteria Medium to Heavy Rigid (MR/HR) drivers licence. First Aid certification, including CPR and LVR.
