Lead the planning and execution of STAGGfairFantastic Community and Fundraising EventFixed term contract November 2025 - March 2026 Gippsland Grammar provides an outstanding contemporary, holistic education where our community has a shared understanding of what we learn, how we learn and who we teach. We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to coordinate the biannual STAGGfaira major community and fundraising event. This is a dynamic, handson role that involves planning, logistics, volunteer coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the success of one of our most anticipated school events. This is a contracted position with an immediate start from November 2025 to March 2026, with a time commitment of approximately 2-3 days per week. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of the STAGGfair eventOrganise a licensed raffle and secure all necessary permits and approvalsRecruit and manage volunteers, class representatives, and stall coordinatorsDevelop and implement a Food Safety Plan in line with Wellington Shire Council requirementsCollaborate with the Marketing team to secure sponsorships and coordinate advertisingDesign the event layoutOversee logistics including setup, waste management, insurance, first aid, and signageLiaise with internal departmentsProvide regular updates to LeadershipChair planning meetings with volunteers and staffManage procurement and maintain a register of supplies and equipmentCoordinate entertainment and develop a detailed event program and running sheetEnsure compliance with OHS, Food Safety, WWCC, and Child Safe StandardsMonitor and control the event budgetConduct postevent evaluation and recommend improvements for future events About You You are a proactive and detailoriented organiser with experience in event planning or community engagement. You thrive in collaborative environments and are confident managing multiple stakeholders and timelines. A strong understanding of compliance requirements and a passion for community events will set you apart. You will be a team player possessing a positive attitude and initiative, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
