Facilities Leading Hand $38.73 per hour | Full TimeMovie World and Sea World, Gold Coast The opportunity has arisen at Village Roadshow Theme Parks! As a Facilities Leading Hand, youll guide a team of skilled staff and contractors to keep our parks in working order with maintenance, repairs and construction projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the team by overseeing construction, maintenance and theming to the highest standard Plan, coordinate, and manage maintenance projects and building works Assist with budget management, purchase requisitions and purchase order receipts Conduct inspections to ensure VRTP standards and compliance requirements are met Coach and guide your team by training, mentoring, coordinating and fostering a positive and professional work environment Follow all safety protocols and compliance training What Were Looking For Certificate III in Carpentry is essential; additional trade qualifications are advantageous Construction White Card is essential Forklift, Yellow Card, and Elevated Work Platform over 11 metres is advantageous Proven experience in building maintenance, construction and theming Strong safety and compliance knowledge Ability to lead and coordinate a team in a fastpaced, hightraffic environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS, SAP and Maximo is desirable Experience with budget management, rostering and labour management Why Youll Love It Youll be at the heart of where the magic happens, behind the scenes of our worldclass attractions!
