Sunripe is a local familyrun business that has become the largest producer of fieldgrown snacking tomatoes in Australia. We have transformed a small snacking tomato farm into a qualityfocused grower with multiple farms and a stateoftheart packing facility near Bundaberg, servicing chain stores and local and interstate markets with premium quality fruit and produce! About the role In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and Directors. Some of your responsibilities will include: Ensuring the produce supplied to the packing shed is accurately graded according to size, colour, and variety, while maintaining premium quality with minimal defects. Preparing the appropriate machinery and equipment for daily operations. Leading the team and ensuring that shed staff adhere to company policies and procedures, while maintaining a safe working environment. Keeping up to date with an understanding of grader software and machinery being used on a daily basis. Maintaining Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Food Safety Standards. Our ideal candidate will be required to have the following attributes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and improve Comfortable with change and taking a handson approach Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills Proactive thinking Have a positive attitude and take direction well Forklift Licence (Preferred but not essential) Generous Salary for the right candidate.
