About the role The Faculty is currently recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate to collaborate with Dr Aileen Kennedy as part of the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF)-funded Interconnect Health Research project. The PDRA will be a key position responsible for helping drive a Delphi research process seeking to inform the development of new bioethical frameworks to support co-designed, ethically defensible, legally sanctioned and socially acceptable models of care, including timely access to appropriate healthcare by people with innate variations of sex characteristics and their families across the lifespan. This position is an MRFF funded position specifically to work on the Interconnect project, and as such there is no teaching or supervision associated to this role. About You As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated experience in any of the following topics: Delphi methodology, LGBTQI+ research, innate variations of sex characteristics (often referred to as intersex variations/differences of sex development). You will also have: A PhD Degree in a related field, including but not limited to: bioethics, law, social sciences Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including people with innate variations of sex characteristics Demonstrated evidence of a strong research track record (for career stage) in a relevant discipline to the Faculty or a related area, including evidence of sustained high-quality publications Significant experience in managing research projects For the full list of selection criteria and role responsibilities, please see page 3 of the Position Statement. Remuneration Base Salary Range: $94,152 - $114,672 (Level A) (pro-rata) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. The position is part-time (0.5FTE, approximately 2.5 days) and will be offered on a fixed term basis for 23.5 months from the start date.
