You will be supported across all steps of your journey to develop your clinical expertise across the NDIS and the community. As a Speechie in our team you will help participants from age 6 to 65, across language, mealtimes, dysphagia, aphasia and AAC. Day-to-day you will: Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from clients homes to day centres, parks and our clinic rooms. Our program starts you off with a full week of graduatespecific induction sessions, including a comprehensive introduction to community practice, the NDIS and life at Better Rehab. Support: Youll be surrounded by colleagues who support you through challenges including a buddy from last years graduate cohort to answer questions and provide guidance Supervision: Mentorship by a discipline specific 1:1 Supervisor to help you navigate all areas of working with Better Rehab, including your transition into fulltime work within your new office. They will also provide clinical support within the NDIS and your caseload. Ongoing Training: 6 months of dedicated induction, training and upskilling to set you up for the rest of the program and your future career. Study Leave: 4 full days paid study leave per calendar year. Resources: The works laptop, phone + all of our sites have therapy and assessment resources ready to grab and go.
