Clinical Nurse Educator Critical Care Far West Local Health District Employment Type: Permanent Full TimePosition Classification: Clinical Nurse EducatorRemuneration: $112,977.04 $116,639.98 + SuperannuationHours Per Week: 38Requisition ID: REQ618152Location: BrokenHill This role is part of the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme, which recognises the critical contribution of health workers in rural and remote services and provides additional incentives above base entitlements. The annual recruitment incentive package is up to $10,000 (prorated for typical working hours and paid fortnightly). Responsibilities Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical education programmes to support the ongoing professional development of nursing and midwifery staff in the critical care speciality, maintaining quality care outcomes. Lead and empower nurses and midwives to enhance clinical practice, ensuring the Far West LHD delivers exceptional patient care. Utilise vast clinical experience and tertiary qualifications in education and training to deliver effective learning solutions. Current Certificate as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor (CertificateIV) or willingness to obtain within 12months. Current Critical Care Post Graduate Qualification or willingness to attain within 24months. Willingness to provide mandatory education and training within critical care and other speciality areas. Credentialed as an Advanced Life Support Instructor and in Triage, or willingness to obtain within 12months. Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining competency and enhancing skills as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer skills and proficiency with education delivery software. Eligibility to drive in NSW and preparedness to travel across rural and remote areas. Applications close: 17th November 2025.
