RPS is a leading Landscape Architecture consultancy by challenging the traditional separation between natural and built environments and helping our clients harness the productivity, liveability and sustainability benefits of inspired landscape design. Our award-winning team are looking to grow, and we are seeking a highlyorganised and proficient Senior Landscape Architect to be based at our Birtinya office. You will be responsible for providing appropriate design solutions, and documentation and ensuring client requirements are achieved in a profitable and costefficient manner. As a part of a multidisciplinary group, you will also have the chance to work with colleagues in urban design, planning, survey, project managers, business case professionals, heritage and environment specialists to name a few. We encourage all our staff to learn through access to industry events and internal training with encouragement to get to know clients, developers and landowners with a view to building the business. As a Landscape Architect, you will have exposure to the full scope of the landscape design process across various industry sectors with a strong focus on urban regeneration across Victoria, ACT, New South Wales and Queensland with the opportunity to travel. You will work on exciting awardwinning projects including the Sunshine Coast Airport Gateway Precinct Master Plan. ABOUT THE JOB Assist in achieving a successful project from inception to delivery and ensuring client satisfaction through the ontime delivery of a quality product. Prepare plans and documents for projects, including computerbased plans (e.g. AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign), handdrawn sketch plans, written reports and specifications. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and proactively assist client managers in finding solutions. Assist client manager where required to ensure monthly invoices are completed on time and WIP is invoiced regularly. Stakeholder management internally and externally with clients, government subcontractors, subconsultants and industry bodies. YOU WILL HAVE A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (BBE) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is preferred but not essential. Ideally 10+ years previous experience in landscape architecture design within a professional practice. Professional services consultancy experience. Efficient use of relevant computer packages, i.e. AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop required. Comprehension of other computer packages such as Revit, Sketchup, Lumion is advantageous. Citizenship, PR status or a visa that entitles you to work full time on an ongoing basis we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
