About the Role Were seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Shutdown Planner to join our Maintenance team in Kemerton, WA. This fulltime, permanent role offers a great mix of handson mechanical work and strategic shutdown planning in a wellsupported, safetyfocused environment. Key Responsibilities Develop the overall shutdown plan and schedule in accordance with internal procedures Scoping jobs and developing work packs Coordinate input from internal and external stakeholders to develop scope lists for shutdowns Organise and manage appropriate resourcing for shutdown activities On a as need basis Lead and coordinate shutdown and readiness activities Performing reactive maintenance, responding promptly to equipment failures, diagnosing faults and resolving issues. Experience with replacing and overhauling pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers and gearboxes. Identifying and reporting defects Undertaking preventative Maintenance and ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard Supporting and positive safety culture, Hazard identification, risk management and reporting The Successful Candidate Will Have Mechanical Trade Cert (essential) Min 5 Year post trade experience as a mechanical fitter Prior planning experience Proven commitment to safety A Team oriented Mindset with the ability to work independently when required Flexibility around Critical equipment breakdowns Experience with Microsoft project Benefits and Perks Competitive salary and financial incentives Benefits and Perks Wellness incentives Social events throughout the year How to Apply Click "Apply Now" to submit your resume and a cover letter which outlines how you align with the role as described in this advert.
