The Executive Manager supports the Geographe Catchment Council Board and staff, and is responsible for driving the corporate, strategic, fundraising, stakeholder relations, communications, governance, reporting, and office tasks required to enable the efficient operation of the organisation. The Executive Manager reports to the Chair of the Board.The Executive Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships, collaborations, and networks with key strategic community partners whilst providing inspirational leadership of the organisation.As Executive Manager, you will be responsible for:Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing long-term business strategies aligned with our mission and values and ensuring high standards of governance, accountability, work health and safety, and legal compliance. This includes coordinating Board meetings and providing the Board with strategic reports and facilitating strong communication between staff and board members.Funding and Partnerships: Leading fundraising efforts, securing grants, and cultivating partnerships with government, philanthropic, and corporate stakeholders; contributing to developing and implementing a sustainable business model and funding strategy.Operational Oversight: Leading and mentoring a small but passionate team of staff to implement key programs and projects including day-to-day operations, financial management, reporting, and compliance, to ensure organisational effectiveness.Community Engagement: Representing the organisation in public forums, building strategic relationships with community members, and fostering a culture of participation and transparency.
