Job Title: Legal Officer (Senior) About the Role The Senior Legal Officer provides expert legal advice in the areas of commercial and property law, legislation and advice or litigation across the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. This role involves drafting key legal documents, proactively identifying and managing legal risk, and building client relationships to ensure the Departments strategic objectives are met, all while addressing complex issues under tight deadlines. About You Eligibility to hold a current practising certificate in NSW Demonstrated expertise in one or more of administrative law, commercial law, property law, legislative reform, litigation, or native title Proven ability to draft complex legal documents Strong record of proactive legal risk management and developing practical solutions Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume, challenging workloads Job Details Full Time, 35 hours per week Temporary up to 12 months Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations.
