About the role Advise the Board and Executive on strategy, performance, and financial viability to ensure safe, equitable health services. Drive the $1.0billion investment in healthcare to maximise clinical outcomes whilst ensuring surpluses for reinvestment, proactive financial management and a stable operating environment. Strategically lead the full portfolio of finance, assets, infrastructure and IT driving added value and performance oversight across the organisation. About you Membership of a recognised professional accounting body. Management and senior leadership experience in a similar sized organisation, with health sector expertise highly regarded. Analytical, innovative and critical thinking skills to drive complex programmes in a demanding regional environment. Proven ability to lead and transform largescale financial management and procurement functions, delivering demonstrable outcomes. Champion a collaborative culture built on accountability, transparency and achievement, ensuring longterm operational and organisational sustainability. Expertise in negotiation, consultation and communication to manage and align diverse government and community stakeholders. Personal qualities consistent with the core values of Queensland Health and Central Queensland Health.
