Job Summary Together Dental in Ipswich are looking for a Locum Dentist to join our busy team on a part-time basis. There is a 25 UDA day target and you will be able to develop your private with the remaining time at a 50% private rate. There is a flexible approach to NHS and private zoning and an inclusive, friendly and supportive team to enable you to deliver excellent patient care. Benefits and Compensation Potential private earnings from 60,000 Day rate of 450 with a target of 25 UDAs with an additional amount per UDA for overachievement 50% private rate 3 days available out of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8.30am 5.00pm Support and Resources Our established patient base Access to our clinical support group Available Head of Operations and Clinical Director Support with any training Lead clinician on hand to help discuss cases and patient issues and actively encourage this Access to supporting specialists for more complex cases Internal marketing system which actively promotes individual dentist''s special interests to direct patients for specific treatments Main Duties Registerable dental qualification Full registration with the General Dental Council NHS performer number Skills and Experience High levels of competency in dentistry Ability to demonstrate empathy with patients requiring special care dentistry Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Appropriate IT skills Ability to plan and organise Ability to demonstrate understanding of the issues relating to the management of clinical dental services Ability to lead and work as part of a healthcare team Ability to manage change effectively Demonstrable teaching skills Understanding of the legal and ethical framework within which dentists practice, particularly those pertinent to special care dentistry Wide experience of primary dental care About the Practice Together Dental Ipswich is a fully equipped 4surgery mixed NHS and private practice close to the high street and a short walk from the waterfront. Parking on site, but also a public car park next door.
